Don’t Underestimate Your Opponents-Tooro King Oyo Tips UG Cranes

Cairo,Egypt: The Omukama of Tooro Kingdom, His Highness Dr. Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi 1V has urgerd  Uganda Cranes team not to underestimate their opponents,Zimbabwe team when they face them this Wednesday night.

Rukirabasaija Oyo said this while attending their (Uganda Cranes) training session at the Arab Contractors Stadium in Cairo on Monday night ahead of the Wednesday clash against Zimbabwe.

After the training, the King had an interaction with the players where he advised them to stay focused in order to out-compete their opponents.

“I decided to come out all the way from home to support our team because I know you can do it. As Tooro we are very proud of you but please do not underestimate your opponents. Yes, respect them but do not fear them,” he said.

Oyo added thus; “I know if we win our next game, we will have qualified, I know all of you have individual capabilities of taking us to the next level, we believe in you, we trust in you and we shall be there to support you”.

The video of the king addressing the Uganda Cranes players during training is trending on social media as his excited Tooro subjects and other Ugandans share it online.

The youthful, world’s youngest  king is one of Uganda’s prominent personalities in Egypt to cheer up the national team in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations Tournament.

Uganda Cranes will be desperate to seal their spot in the round of 16 when they take on wounded Zimbabwe in their second group A game at the Cairo International Stadium on tonight (Wednesday) at 8pm East African Standard time.

The Cranes beat DR Congo 2-0 in their first game while Zimbabwe fell 1-0 to hosts Egypt in the tournament’s opener.
