The executive director of the Uganda Media Center Ofwono Opondo, who is also the government spokesperson, is very angry at journalists from the national broadcaster UBC (Uganda Broadcasting Corporation).
Ofwono, who usually holds press briefings at the UMC, is so pissed with UBC journalists for always arriving late at the facility whenever they are called for pressers.
As a way of venting out his anger at the UBC scribes for their chronic late coming, Ofwono took to social media on Tuesday morning and ranted thus;
“We are getting tired and disappointed that @ubctvuganda is never in time for press briefings at the very nearby @UgandaMediaCent. Their journalists are perennial latecomers. Drastic action required!”
He thereafter tagged minister for ICT Frank Tumwebaze, Don Wanyama, of the Presidential Media Team, Maurice Mugisha, the UBC MD, among others.
Well, this Ofwono rant spells a lot of doom for several journals at UBC and we shall keep you updated in case the Powers that Be crack the whip!
