KAMPALA, Uganda: The year has started on a bad note for celebrated singer, Sheebah Karungi aka Swag Mama.
Words reaching TheSpy indicates that the #Team No Sleep (TNS) member is nursing a backache and a excruciating bum after falling on stage a few days ago. Sheeba becomes the latest victim of faulty and weak platforms. TheSpy has learnt that Sheebah’s woes started when she was hired to perform at a music gig upcountry. However, it seems the people who constructed the stage didn’t know that Sheebah would come on high heels. Nasty incidence occurred when the skinny singer stepped on the badly built stage.
She skipped a step, slid and fell down flat, hitting her tiny bum down with a thunderous sound. She was later overheard telling the organizers of the show that they should have fixed the stage properly before letting her step on it. She was quickly helped up by the event emcee, who lifted her and dusted off her booty.
Sheebah, who is now reportedly nursing backache, becomes the second singer to fall on stage in East Africa after Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz, who also lost balance and fell as he performed a few weeks ago. The Tanzanian best artist, with leading top chart music tumbled down during a performance in Tanzania. The singer was busy jumping on stage hyping the crowd together with Rayvanny and Mbosso before the wooden stage gave way and he fell into a hole.
