Archbishop Ntagali Reshuffles All Saints Nakasero Priests

KAMPALA, Uganda: The Arch Bishop church of Uganda,  Stanley Ntagali, has made reshuffles in the Kampala diocese.

Ntagali also appointed some of the Clergy to various Parishes. According to information that SpyUganda got, revealed those affected are from All Saints’ Cathedral in Kampala. According to the new transfers, The Rev. Canon Michael Mukhwana- Provost has been transferred to St. Andrews Church in Bukoto as the Vicar and Archdeacon Eastern Archdeaconry. Rev. Canon Geoffrey Byarugaba has been transferred to Church of Resurrection Bugolobi Church of Uganda as the Vicar.

The Rev. Canon Dr. Rebecca Margaret Nyegenye Chaplain, Thorncroft Chapel UCU is coming to the Cathedral as the Acting Provost while Rev. David Serunjogi, Vicar, The Church of Resurrection Bugolobi Church of Uganda is coming in as the Assistant Provost/Vicar. The transfers and appointments are effective Friday, 01 February 2019. Ntagali encouraged all the transferred members to go and spread the work of Jesus across the new areas of appointment. “We thank the outgoing Provost and Vicar for their team work, insightful, selfless and joyful service to the Cathedral. We ask the Lord to bless them in their new ministry stations. And we warmly welcome our new Team Leaders” he said. Members of All Saints Church Nakasero welcomed the transfers saying that it’s one of the ways to expand God’s Kingdom.
