Musician turned President Yoweri Museveni’s political mobiliser Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool was embarrassed on Friday night after revellers who were at diva Cindy Sanyu’s concert threw bottles full of urine at him as he performed on stage at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Bebe Cool had been invited by Cindy to boost turn up for the concert and was to preform along with other musicians like Respek Muziq.
However, mid the concert the ‘Boom Party’ turned into explosive chaos after a group of irate Revellers said to be People Power supporters threw bottles said to contain water and Urine at him.
Whereas some missed, others hit the singer as he tried to brave the bottle attack, until he was shielded and whisked away to safety by bouncers.
However, he insisted that he would not be put down by People Power thugs and vowed that he would continue singing no matter how many times he is attacked.
It should however be noted that Bebe Cool is not the first National Resistance Movement (NRM) singer cum mobiliser to be pelted with bottles on stage.
Singers Catherine Kusasira, Full Figure, Big Eye and others have already tasted the wrath of the people.
