The thought of singer Bebe cool facing his nemesis Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) on the panel of judges has created debate with many advising Bebe Cool to concede defeat. Bebe Cool is vying with Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz in the best artiste East Africa at the Afrima awards in Ghana, next week.

The singers have always been on parallel lines musically, socially and politically.

Reports on social media claimed Bobi Wine would referee Afrima awards ceremony in Ghanaian capital Accra where Bebe Cool is a nominee in the “Best Male Artiste in East Africa” category.

“He [Bobi Wine] was invited to speak as a Panellist on the AFRIMA Music Business Summit,” an official said.
