Entebbe: Brig Felix Busizoori has replaced Brig Gen. Peter Candia who had been commander Special Forces Command (SFC). Candia has been sent to the National Defence College for further training.
The handover/takeover ceremony was held Wednesday at the SFC headquarters in Entebbe at an event presided over by the Chief of Defense Forces, Gen Wilson Mbadi.
Before scooping this new office, Busizoori has been serving as the deputy commander of SFC.
SFC is a specialized command unit of the UPDF, that is responsible for the security of the President of Uganda, his immediate family, the constitutional monarchs and vital national installations.
Busizoori joins other commanders who have headed the Force among them including; Maj Gen James Birungi, Maj Gen Don Nabasa and current Commander of UPDF land Forces, Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
