Britania Allied Industries Uganda Ltd on Thursday launched a caravan drive in several parts of Kampala, during which they gave out free samples of their new Splash Kachupa to targeted consumers.
Spy Uganda has learnt that the caravan on Thursday traversed areas of Nakawa, Ntinda, Kamwokya and Katanga, where hundreds of Ugandans sampled the newest splash pack on the market. The company’s marketing manager Norah Male in an exclusive Interview with the Spy reporter revealed that the campaign, which is aimed at creating awareness about new Splash Kachupa among all Ugandans, is set to be expanded to cover other parts of the country. “As you know Kampala being the heart of everything, we’ve started the launch in K’la but is spreading across the country. Every corner of the country must taste our new pack then,I know they will buy after enjoying the taste,” she said.
The Company’s General manager Sales and Marketing Ritesh Rajnikant Sheth revealed that the product will be available in all major shops and supermarkets across the country by end of this week.
“Our chain of distribution is systematic and very responsive. I believe now that we’ve launched it, by Tuesday next week all major outlets should be able to have it. Our consumers will get it at Shs2500; no more ,no less,” Ritesh said.
During the caravan drive, marketers from Britania Uganda give out free Sampling of Splash Kachupa to Ugandans randomly, no conditions and terms attached,just grab one and sip. Splash Kachupa, for now comes in orange, mango and apple flavors.
Splash Kachupa, which was launched last Friday is to compete with other bottled soft drinks on the market. This is Britania’s latest addition to its range of various products which include; Yo-Jus, variety of biscuits, Sun-Sip, Top-Up tomato sauce among others.
