Brutal Night Attack Leaves Nyantwiri Shop Owner Dead as Police Launch Manhunt

Tragedy has struck Nyantwiri village in Buheesi Sub-county, Bunyangabu District, following the brutal killing of a shop owner in what police suspect to be a well-planned criminal attack.

The deceased has been identified as Nyakojo Moses, a businessman who owned and operated a retail shop in the area. According to preliminary information, unknown assailants allegedly broke into his shop during the night and subjected him to extreme violence, cutting his body into pieces before fleeing the scene.

The gruesome discovery was made in the early morning hours, sending shockwaves through the local community. Residents described the deceased as a quiet and hardworking trader whose shop served many households in Nyantwiri and surrounding villages.

Security operatives and police officers from Bunyangabu District promptly visited the scene, where they documented evidence and conveyed the body for post-mortem examination. Police have since launched investigations to establish the motive behind the killing, the identity of the attackers, and whether the incident was linked to robbery, personal grudges, or organized criminal activity.

At the time of filing this report, no arrests had been made. Police authorities have appealed to the public to cooperate with investigators by providing any information that could aid in tracking down the perpetrators.
