President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the commander in chief of all armed forces has promoted five senior military officers various ranks.
According to force’s spokesperson Brigadier Flavia Byekwaso, Museveni promoted; Brig Gen Dennis Asiimwe to Major General,Col Nsubuga Wasswa to Brigadier General, Col Samwa Kimbowa to Brigadier General, Col Edson Muhanguzi to Brigadier General and Col Frank Kyankonye also to Brigadier General.
The UPDF has congratulated the promoted officers for their patriotic service for the country.
