DSTV Launches Timeless ‘Dizi Channel’ For Sub-Sahara Africa Customers

 Kampala: Africa’s greatest story-teller, Multichoice, is thrilled to announce the launch of the new Timeless ‘Dizi Channel’ (TDC) on DStv channel 123, with effect from Monday, 2 November 2020. The channel, owned by SPI International, will be available to DStv Premium, Compact Plus and Compact across Africa.

SPI International is a global media company operating more than 30 television channels on five continents with over 45 million paid subscribers.

 According to Yolisa Phahle, MultiChoice Group CEO of General Entertainment and Connected Video, this Turkish pop-up channel is such an exciting opportunity for DSTV to offer a new and unique genre of content to their customers as part of their commitment to bring the best of the world back home.

The channel reached more than five million households worldwide within the first year of its launch and continues to increase its footprint across the globe, with recent distribution deals in Switzerland, Nepal, the Middle East, and India.
