The satisfaction you read on her face derives from the fact that in just two years since the inception of State House Anti-Corruption Unit, which she heads, Nakalema actually managed to recover Shs 26B that had already been disbursed, and she forced the relevant individuals to cough it back into the Government coffers.

Edith Nakalema is equipped with telephone and text messaging platforms that enable whistleblowers to pass on information on corruption anonymously (without revealing their identity). Our spy learnt that callers use the toll-free hotline 0800202500 to report cases of corruption and through this initiative, her office was able to receive a total of 80,000 cases. Others write officially to her officer while others choose to walk in her office and formally report corruption cases.

While launching the squad on 10th Dec, 2018, Museveni said he was very optimistic that ‘her girl’ [Nakalema] would do a good job because he was tired of corrupt officials in his government. “People were losing hope thinking that even if they report the corrupt nothing would be done at all. That’s why I created the State House Anti-Corruption Unit to deal with every corrupt individual without fear or favor,” he said.

When our spy at the state house yesterday asked one of our sources why Museveni among all army officers chose Nakalema moreover a lady to head such a serious and hot government office, our source responded; ”In fact before I answer that, allow me to ask Nakalema change names to ”Ms. Hard Work”, she never fails in anything…just like you hear her name Nakalema, never fail!!”

He added, ”she is someone that even the president must be saluting at just because of her hard work and transparency more so, when she is handling these government mafias spearheading corruption. I mean…that lady is just allergic to corruption.”

But Who Is This Ironic Lady Nakalema That Has Since Squeezed Plasma Out Of Corrupt Officials?
