Former Attorney General Peter Nyombi Dies At 64

Former Attorney General Peter Nyombi has died at the age of 64, according to reports yet to be officially confirmed. According to reports, Nyombi breathed his last in a hospital. For now, details about his death are still scanty.
Having replaced Kidhu Makubuya, Nyombi served as Attorney General and main Government’s legal advisor for nearly four years, from May 2011 until March 2015.

A cabinet reshuffle saw him replaced with Fred Ruhindi, who would also be dropped a year later to give way for William Byaruhanga, the current Attorney General. Details about the cause of his death and burial arrangements to follow shortly… RIP
