FUFA Confirms Nominated Candidates For 2025–2029 Special Interest Group Elections

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Electoral Committee has officially announced the nominated candidates for the upcoming elections to the National Special Interest Group (SIG) Assemblies, for the term 2025–2029.

In FUFA EC Circular No. 011-2025, the Electoral Committee revealed that completed nomination forms were received from all eight FUFA Regional Football Associations (RFAs) within the stipulated timeline. After a thorough scrutiny process, the Committee confirmed that all nominees had complied with the FUFA Electoral Code and Guidelines.

These nominated candidates are now officially eligible to contest in elections scheduled for April 22, 2025, at their respective FUFA Regional Football Association Headquarters.

Below is the full list of nominated candidates by region and SIG:

🔹 BUGANDA RFA – UFRA (Uganda Football Referees Association)

The FUFA Electoral Committee, led by Chairperson Bwire Mathias, reaffirmed that only the listed nominated candidates will be eligible to stand for election. Stakeholders are advised to raise any queries or requests for clarification regarding the list by 5:00 PM on April 19, 2025, through the official email: ec.fufa@gmail.com.
