Aisha Nabukeera was among the 1024 students who graduated on Friday at Mukono based Uganda Christian University (UCU).

Nabukeera graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Social Administration (SWASA).

Aisha came into the lime light in 2006 when her step mother burnt her while in Masaka and her plight was brought to the general public by social entrepreneur and motivational speaker Frank Gashumba who later adopted her and picked her from Masaka and brought her to his Manson in Buziga.

Flash back: Nabukeera then after her step mother burnt her

Nabukeera, after her step mother’s gruesome act, had to undergo three surgeries to regain her burnt skin. She would later join City Parents Primary School, at the age 13 and was able to score Aggregate 14 in 2008’s Primary Leaving Exams.
