Kampala: In an effort to bolster Uganda’s blood supply, the Non-Resident Nepali Association in Uganda has joined forces with the Blood Bank of Uganda to support their annual blood donation campaign.
Scheduled for Sunday, April 28th, 2024, at Kampala Parents School from 8 am to 6 pm, the drive aims to contribute to the maintenance of adequate blood reserves within Uganda’s healthcare system.
Backed by the Honorary Consul of Nepal to Uganda, Sudhir Ruparelia, the Nepali community endeavors to support the Uganda Blood Transfusion Services in their mission to collect 300,000 units of blood annually, essential for saving lives across the country.
This initiative, organized by the Nepali Non-Residents Association happens every year demonstrating their ongoing commitment to humanitarian causes.
