Vocal government mouthpiece Ofwono Opondo, who is the Executive Director of the Uganda Media Centre, is battling for his life and needs your prayers.
Our Spies reveal that Opondo has been bedridden at Nakasero Hospital for several days, where he is battling with a life-threatening illness.
Although Opondo had decided to suffer in silence by keeping the public out of his anguish, his current situation was unearthed by Next Media Group boss Kin Kariisa, who visited him over the weekend.
According to pictures shared by Kariisa, which have since gone viral on social media, Opondo, who is a staunch National Resistance Movement (NRM) cadre, looks so frail and has drastically lost weight, an indication that he is not well at all.
We have since established that Kariisa and team decided to go visit OO,as commonly known, in hospital after realizing that he had spent several days without appearing on NBS TV ‘The Front Line’ show, where he usually engages in political talk-shows.
Apart from Kariisa and team, other people who visited him include; Moses Byaruhanga, the Senior Presidential Adviser on political Affairs, Brig. Gen. Richard Karemire, who is former UPDF mouthpiece, among others.
However, Opondo’s family members have since remained tight-lipped about the actual illness that is slowly and steadily eating him away.
