Uganda National Roads Authority has revealed that western Uganda’s Kazinga channel at Katunguru on the Hiima – Katunguru – Ishaka road is closed for emergency rehabilitation works.
According to UNRA, the closure that was implemented in May 2021 is expected to last between June 2, 2021 to September 2, 2021.
“During this period, a ferry will be provided to operate as an alternative means of transport,” says UNRA in its public announcement.
