Kampala: HE. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today announced new appointments of 37 ambassadors and four deputies to different countries.

”By virtue of the powers vested in the President of the Republic of Uganda, by Article 122(1), I hereby appoint the following as Ambassadors, High Commissioners and Deputy Ambassadors to the respective brotherly and friendly countries,” said Museveni in the appointment announcement.

Among the new ambassadors include, Maj.Gen Matayo Kyaligonza to Burundi, Col Fred Mwesigye to Dar-es-Salaam, Maj Gen Robert Rusoke to Kigali and Ms Robbie Kakonge to Washington DC.
