Bushenyi: Police in Bushenyi are investigating circumstances where a head teacher is alleged to have been sleeping with a primary pupil aged twelve (12) years.
Police arrested and detained Tumuramye Yafes aged between (50 to 60 years) a head teacher of Madarasat Islamic primary school in Mashonga cell, Kyamuhunga town council Bushenyi District.
It is alleged that this head teacher who resided from Nyamiko cell, Mazinga ward in Bushenyi, Ishaka Municipality was sleeping with this pupil for a while promising sweets and other goodies (names of pupil withheld for security purposes).
Rashid Orikiriza the father of the defiled pupil told TheSpy that it was the daughter who narrated the story of how Yefes had been using her daughter promising goodies.
“It’s my daughter who told me that the head teacher has been defiling her which forced me to immediately report him to Mashonga police post and the headteacher was arrested.” Rashid
Sp. Martial Tumusiime the Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson said its true the head teacher was arrested and police is investing the matter. “Our police arrested this head teacher on 8 July from the school and taken briefly to Mashonga police post, later transferred to Bushenyi Police Station on Wednesday”. The CID Police are seriously investigating the matter to establish the truth, there is a lot of information surrounding defilement of the pupil by the head teacher.
