It’s now more clearer that city lawyer Bob Kasango was not a Mutooro as he wanted the public to believe, but a pure mudaama from Tororo who had an inferiority complex with his own tribe, no one knows the reasons for now. What’s also true is that he had married from Tooro and had wished to be buried there when he dies, the reason his wife and her family were organizing burial at his desired place, because anyway he had bought land and decided to settle there, starting a new life altogether.

However, this hasn’t gone down well with his Tororo family who stormed All Saints Church Nakasero and ‘took to the heels’ with the body on a truck, reportedly en route to Tororo for burial, yet at the same time, Bob’s wife and family had dug the grave in Tooro!

Police intercepted the body at Namugongo and handed it over to a funeral services company till the two sides agree on where to bury it.

Metropolitan Police mouthpiece Patrick Onyango confirmed this development thus; “The late Bob Kasango is a born of Tororo and he marries from Tooro. Today after the Church service at All Saints Cathedral, Nakasero, the people from Tororo organized young men who came and took away the body that they are heading to Tororo for burial. The wife had also organized that he should be buried in Tooro. The relatives of Bob refused that their son can not be buried in Tooro. When the body was taken away the wife immediately reported to Police and the body was intercepted by Police at Namugongo, Kiira Municipality.

No arrests were made. The body was handed over to the funeral service managers until the families agree on where to bury the deceased. It is now under the protection of Police”
