Kampala: Betty Nambooze Bakireke a Member of Parliament, representing Mukono Municipality, has this morning been invaded by a panga-wielding man who found her in bed and ordered her to say the last prayer before being killed.
According to the video clip making rounds on various social media platforms, Nambooze who is covered by buckets of tears alleges that the assassin found her alone in the bedroom but by Lord’s mercies, she managed to survive with no harm.
Nambooze goes ahead to allege that this came after her husband had left the bedroom for prayers in the sitting room while their children were outside doing morning home chores.

”…My husband had left the bedroom for prayers in the sitting room, the man entered into my bedroom and out of shock, I jumped into the shower room before he ordered me to get out or else he breaks the door, which I responded to and he asked me to say my last prayer….” briefly tearful Nambooze narrates adding that the assassin entered into their premises via the neighbour’s wing which is not fenced.
Meanwhile, it remains unclear how she managed to survive being killed but soon you will be updated after learning of the same.
The development comes few days after the same panga wielding goons murdered over 30 people in Greater Masaka Region before security operatives kicked off 24/7 operations to end the bloodshed.
