IGP Ochola Fires 40 Police Officers Over Misconduct

Kampala, Uganda: The Inspector General of Police IGP Martin Okoth Ochola has fired forty police officers including commissioned and noncommissioned officers for alleged misconduct, SpyUganda can exclusively reveal.

The firing of these officers arose after he selected them to go through the Human Resource Directorate for a training course called Training of Trainees in Kabalye {ToT) last month,  but they refused to go. The affected police officers include ASP Azira Grace from Kabalye, ASP Oyesigire Peter from Kiruhura, ASP Odongo Dickson from Kiira Division, IP Mugisha Eldad from KMP headquarters, IP Ampadde Dan from Kawempe among others.

IGP Ochola MessageAccording to police message issued today signed by the Director Human Resource  titled; ‘Refusal To Attend TOT Course At Police Training School Kabalye’, the IGP has directed all heads of department not to deploy the officers and directed them to deliver their personal files to police Headquarters for further management.
