Just few minutes after president Museveni had addressed the country, in which he disassociated himself from torture, beatings of Ugandans, his closest rival in the just concluded elections and National Unity Platform (NUP) party president Hon. Ssentamu Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has described him as the most hypocrite of his generation, whereby he can shamelessly tell blatant lies and remain unbothered on his face!
Bobi Wine also wondered how Museveni, who is in charge of the country can all of a sudden summersault and speak like the opposition of his own Government
Museveni, in his address, took a swipe at Bobi Wine whom he said was using subterfuge [deceit used in order to achieve one’s goal] methods to achieve their selfish interests.
But now, in response, Bobi Wine, via his social media platform has said Yoweri Museveni wasn’t ashamed of ‘spewing’ [expel large quantities of (something) rapidly and forcibly] lies to the country.
“Isn’t it unfortunate that we have such a hypocrite in charge of our country? How can he even speak blatant lies with a straight face?
I can imagine how the victims of his brutality feel as they watch him shamelessly spew out lies, completely unconcerned about their plight.
To you all victims of torture, illegal detentions and abductions, I can assure you that there will be a day of justice. And yes, there will be justice for all who have been assassinated and murdered in cold blood by his regime of blood.
Today he is speaking like an opposition leader against his own regime because of the pressure all of you have mounted against his murderous regime. He knows what awaits him; seeing his friend Omar Bashir in the ICC waiting for lounge! Nothing, absolutely nothing will save him from the fate of all despots, past and present!” he said.
