Malpractice

The UNEB chairperson Mary Okwakol on Thursday reported that in Bundibugyo District, security officers found teachers in eight schools reading out answers to candidates.

She added that parents were made to pay UGX50,000 each to facilitate the malpractice in those schools.

Okwakol called for the set up of a legal unit to work with police and Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) to handle the vice.

She asked the government to hasten the processing and passing of the UNEB Bill which seeks to provide guidelines and punishments for those engaging in malpractice.
