Namwongo, Kampala: The hook master, Dj Freddie Sakura, who has been running ‘The Hook’ show, from 10am-3pm has finally called it a quit after over 15 years on the air.
The reasons for his resignation are still unknown but Freddie told his listeners on Friday morning that he was having his last show at the Namwongo based station 93.3FM, and was quick to add that he would return in ‘ a bang’.
Meanwhile, TheSpy Uganda authoritatively learnt that the hook master has been replaced by NTV and Radio City’s star girl Lynda Uwamahoro aka Lynda Ddane who has since announced that she is switching from 97FM to 93.3 KFM.
“Goodbye to the best colleagues I ever had! What an amazing bonding we shared. You made me look forward to coming into the office every morning,” Lynda Ddane noted in her farewell letter.
This has since been confirmed by KFM management via its social media channels revealing that the beauteous girl will be thrilling listeners via the D’Hook show that runs between 10AM and 3PM.
It has been established that Lynda who has been presenting the ‘Breakfast in the City’ show alongside Joel Ndugwa and Rhoda Ngonzi, her duties at KFM will kick off on March 1, 2021.
