Kyegegwa At Heart Kickstarts Campaign To Help Breast Cancer Patient

By Spy Uganda
Members of Kyegegwa At Heart, a local Nongovernmental Organization (NGO) in Kyegegwa district,  have launched campaign to rescue a single mother who is battling a strange case of breast cancer.

The campaign dubbed  ‘Save A Life’, is aimed at raising funds for medication for a breast cancer patient identified as  Kebirungi Anemia, 20 years old.

Poster calling upon people to donate for Kebirungi’s surgery

Kebirungi is a young woman who loves her daughter and would love a chance to see her grow. Sadly she is battling with breast cancer.
This has taken a toll on the family as a whole especially on Anemia herself. The cancer is fast spreading to her armpit and almost rendering her hands invalid.  There is a high risk that the breasts may be removed.

Alinaitwe Kagaba, the coordinator of this campaign, says that “She needs more rounds of chemotherapy before her surgeries, then Radiotherapy followed by rounds of chemotherapy. She needs to do some surgeries this year which makes this a matter of urgency. Please we appeal to you to please help in any little way you can.”

She lives in Uganda and Kyegegwa in Particular Kigambo Sub-county,  we have put mobile phones details down so all funds received for the purpose to save her shall be delivered to her.
