The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has officially announced its Executive Committee for the 2025–2029 term, ushering in a new leadership team tasked with steering Ugandan football into its next chapter.

Hon. Moses Magogo Hassim has retained his position as FUFA President, extending his tenure at the helm of the country’s football governing body. His reappointment underscores the confidence stakeholders continue to have in his leadership, particularly following recent developments in youth football, infrastructure, and international performance.
New Vice Presidents Appointed

The new committee also introduces a reshuffled line-up of Vice Presidents, with three seasoned figures taking up the roles:
- Mugisha Justus – First Vice President (VP1)
- Dr. Azah Taibu – Second Vice President (VP2)
- Hon. Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi – Third Vice President (VP3)
Hon. Nakiwala, who has previously served in top FUFA roles and government, brings both administrative and political experience to the team.

The new committee brings together a mix of experienced football administrators, regional representatives, and sports professionals, reflecting FUFA’s commitment to balanced, nationwide representation.
As the football fraternity looks ahead to the next four years, the new Executive Committee is expected to focus on:
- Youth development and academies
- Strengthening women’s football
- Infrastructure development and club licensing
- Continued support for national teams across all levels
- Enhancing governance and transparency in football administration
The unveiling of the new team follows months of consultations, regional elections, and stakeholder engagement within Uganda’s football ecosystem.
In his acceptance remarks, Magogo reaffirmed FUFA’s vision of building a competitive, professional, and inclusive football environment that can produce continental and global success.
“This is not just a team—it’s a mission. We must continue to grow Ugandan football at all levels, with unity, strategy, and passion,” he said.
FUFA is expected to roll out its 2025–2029 Strategic Plan later this month, outlining key priorities, funding allocations, and timelines for development goals.
