Masindi Religious Leaders Welcome Balaam’s ‘Radio 7’ With Prayers

Masindi: Religious leaders in Masindi district yesterday welcomed the new radio station in the Bunyoro sub-region with prayers led by Bishop George Kasangaki.

The new station named ‘Radio 7′ belongs to renowned events promoter and businessman Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi who is a staunch supporter of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni thus the name of the station ”Radio 7’.

Religious leaders including; Bishop George Kasangaki of Masindi- Kitara Diocese, Pastor Kahwa, Pastor Kibuka & the District Kadha prayed for the station streaming live on 100.7 FM.

Bishop Kasangaki called on radio staff who were around to work for the Lord quoting Colossians 3:23-24 which states;

23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

Radio 7 Uganda will be covering over 45 districts in the Western region and some parts of central Buganda.

This radio station happens to be Balaam’s third radio station after ‘Radio 4’ in Kampala and ‘Radio One’ in Juba, South Sudan.
