The upcoming wedding of the year is set to take place on the 26th of April between Hon Mbidde, the Vice President of the Democratic Party and former EALA member of Parliament representing Uganda, and the stunningly water-logged beautiful Munyarwanda-Muhima babe, Phiona Nayebale.
According to city tycoon Godfrey Kirumira, the Chairman organizing committee, everything is going according to plans. “So far over 90% of the pledges have been cleared. We’re now mainly coordinating service providers to ensure everything is moving as planned,” he said.
Mbidde, a highly respected figure in the region has been instrumental in promoting regional integration and cooperation. His bride-to-be, Phiona Nayebale, a stunning beautiful babe is also known for her grace and elegance and is highly regarded in social circles in Uganda.
The wedding will be preceded by a traditional ceremony known as Kuhingira or Gusaba at Phiona’s home in Kololo. This is set to be the most expensive wedding of all times, with the business community, politicians, diplomats, and influential youth in Uganda bankrolling the event.
The Bride-Groom shall be united in Christ Nuptials at the Munyonyo Catholic Church Basilica by the Rev Bishop Severus Jumba of Masaka Diocese, a close friend to the Hon Mbidde.
The two billion shilling wedding shall be preceded by a Bachelor’s Party on the evening of the 26th at the prestigious Club Guvnor and will treat their guests to a reception at the prestigious Serena Kigo.
The wedding committee says that the attendance is strictly by invitation, except for the Bachelor’s Party on April 26, whose password is KOWTOW.
”The guest list for the wedding is set to include the who’s who of the region, with groomsmen including judges and business leaders from Uganda, South Africa, and Rwanda,” said an inside source.
The wedding is set to be a grand affair, with no expense spared to ensure that it is a memorable event for all those in attendance. Hon Mbidde is a well-known figure in Ugandan politics, having served as the Vice President of the Democratic Party and a member of the East African Legislative Assembly (emeritus).
