Renowned city pastor Elvis Mbonye, of Zoe Ministries, is currently not seeing eye to eye with popular social activist Frank M. Gashumba.
Our Spies reveal that the beef between the two men has been raging on for some time but it spilled forth to the public fora a few days ago after Gashumba tweeted a video attacking Mbonye, whom he wondered why innocent Ugandans even give him their money as tithe, yet he can’t even use his ‘divine powers’ to save Ugandans and the rest of the global COVID-19 pandemic victims!
In his own words, Gashumba said that he wonders why some Ugandans are so gullible to the extent of forking out hefty sums of money from their pockets to give it to fake pastors who can’t even use their supposedly God-given powers to fight a disease like Coronavirus, which is affecting not only Ugandans but also people in other countries.
But is should be noted that for a long time Mbonye and Gashumba have been at loggerheads after the former accused the latter of being a quack prophet.
In his message on social media, Gashumba wondered how Ugandans in their rightful minds can be duped into giving millions of shillings in tithe to quack pastors, who claim to proclaim prophecies.
However, by the time of filing this story, our efforts to reach either Gashumba or Mbonye for a comment about this matter were futile as they both couldn’t be reached on their known telephone numbers. Watch the space…
