Members of Parliament Join Journalists In Boycotting Police

By Andrew Irumba

Members of Parliament have today  joined journalists boycotting activities conducted by the Uganda Police Force.

Spy Uganda has learnt  that a section of Members sitting on  the Parliamentary defence Committee have joined Journalists to boycott a police meeting.

Police led by the internal affairs Minister Hon. Kania Obiga were appearing before the committee to answer some queries.
However, when they appeared, the police bosses waited for the MP in vain.

Even journalists who report news at Parliament also snubbed the police meeting.
It should be noted that journalists announced a babs on all police activities last month, accusing the police of targeting, brutalizing and arresting them whenever they are in the  field doing their work.
