Minister Okello Oryem Is A Lier, Fred Lumbuye Is In Turkey Jail-NUP Confirms

Turkey: Kyadondo East Member of Parliament in the 11th parliament, Hon.Nkunyingi Muwada dubbed opposition Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs has asked Ugandans to ignore State Minister for Foreign Affairs (International Affairs), Okello Oryem’s ‘lies’ the once most wanted blogger-Fred Lumbuye is held in Uganda by security operatives.

Nkunyingi via his verified Facebook page yesterday’s evening revealed that after a long search, he finally landed on Lumbuye who is detained at Kocaeli Valiligi Foreigners Detention Centre.

He says, ”Together with the new Turkey Lawyer Adnan Sahin, we finally found Lumbuye Kajubi Fred at Kocaeli Valiligi Foreigners Detention Centre.

Muwada goes ahead to say; ”He is alive and quite well though bored being in one place. He claim they had told him that he will stay in a detention centre for 6 months. His wish is to secure his Freedom and Possibly relocate to another Country but not Uganda.The other details are reserved for now.

He has thanked you all for caring for his safety. Unfortunately, he is not allowed to speak on phone, write or take photos. The reason they gave is that his detention is monitored by the Turkish Government. But they guided us through the lawyers on how to process the details of his wishes.”

Meanwhile, Muwada says the next move is to secure Muwada’s liberty; ”Now l can comfortably report LUMBUYE is alive and detained at KOCAELI Foreigners Detention Centre in Turkey. Now we know where he is detained with certainty. And we are to embark on follow up legal & Human Rights efforts.”
