The address comes at a time when Museveni was expected to deliver his address on the Covid-19 pandemic following the meeting with the national Covid-19 task force for possible measures on how to curb the spread of the deadly virus.

According to the ministry of health, as of yesterday, Uganda has confirmed 915 news Covid-19 cases of which 600 of them were recorded in Kampala alone thus putting the urban population on tenterhooks on what will be the president’s next step as far as the pandemic is concerned.
