Museveni Meets UN Security Council Amidst Masaka Terror, ADF Threat

State House Entebbe: Today’s afternoon Ugandan President-Yoweri Kaguta Museveni held a consultative meeting with the representatives of the United Nations Security Council at State House Entebbe.

The elected leader for the 2021-2026 term-Museveni held today’s meeting with the above group amidst a deadly situation in Masaka District where over 30 locals have been killed by panga wielding notorious group.

Delivering his speech at Kololo Independence Ground few days ago at passing out of cadets and non commissioned officers, HE. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni revealed that these criminals that have since put the Greater Masaka Region on tenterhook will soon be brought to books since they leave behind clues that can be based upon to track them.

“The only thing they can do is endangering themselves and those are misleading people. These people are attacking old people in Masaka by attacking them at night and think it is a strategy! You are finished now,” he said.

Museveni further noted thus; ”What they don’t realize is that there is no way you can commit a crime in Uganda and we don’t get you. You will leave all sorts of clues to enable the police  hunt you. Many have been arrested and others will be arrested but this is the bankruptcy of some of these actors.”

The address came few days after he had revealed, “The ADF had, apparently, sent a suicide bomber in Pader to kill mourners at Lokech’s funeral. Fortunately, the main actor was arrested with his materials for making Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). The plans and orders to kill our people are coming from the terrorists in Eastern DR Congo.”

Museveni said the ADF attempted to attack mourners at the funeral service as pay back to the deceased, who arrested their members involved in the attack on Gen Katumba Wamala.
