In his bid to promote football talent in Uganda, NBS TV’s Chief strategist Joe Kigozi has decided to start up a soccer Academy.
The venture which will be called ‘Joe Kigozi Soccer Academy’ is slated to be officially launched this Saturday September 28, 2019 at Lugogo Training Ground, near Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA).
Spy Uganda has learnt that Kigozi’s academy will be tasked with scouting for talented youngsters of all ages and nurture their talent until they become international football stars.
With alot of excitement Kigonzi broke this good news via his social tweeter handle this week when he posted thus; “The long wait is over . The dream starts now . Join us on the 28th September 2019 at the launch of Joe Kigozi Academy”.
Kigozi formerly worked with NBS Tv where he used to present a sports show on Sunday calked 442 and joined Buganda Kingdom’s BBS TV as managing director but later left and bounced back to NBT TV this time as Chief strategist, second in command,after CEO Kin Kariisa.
Joe,as commonly called by his peers is credited for leading a team that has turned the station around and round into the leading in news broadcast and live coverage in the region.
Now, if you don’t remember everything about soccer matters on Saturday, at least remember three letters…. JKA.
