Next Media has officially announced the appointment of Peter Jackson Mungoma as its new Deputy Group CEO and Chief of Radio.
Mungoma joins the media giant with a distinguished career spanning over two decades of leadership across broadcasting, media, telecommunications, and other commercial sectors. Over his career, he has played a major role in shaping Uganda’s media landscape, establishing a strong track record in strategic leadership, commercial growth, digital transformation, and team building.
In his dual role, Mungoma will oversee operations and drive innovative strategies across Next Media’s expanding portfolio of television, radio, and digital platforms.
“We look forward to the experience, ideas, and leadership he brings to our radio, television, and digital platforms,” the company stated in an official announcement welcoming him to the team.
The strategic executive appointment underscores Next Media’s focus on solidifying its market position while accelerating digital innovation and audience growth across all its media properties.
