Uganda’s football faithful can finally breathe a sigh of excitement: tickets are now on sale for the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) PAMOJA 2024, with matches set to light up the refurbished Mandela National Stadium, Namboole, this August.

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) has unveiled a fan-first digital ticketing system, designed to make it easier, faster, and more affordable for Ugandans to be part of one of the biggest continental football events ever hosted on home soil.

“Our goal was simple: make CHAN 2024 accessible to all Ugandans,” said Dr. Dennis K. Mugimba, Chairperson of the Communications and Signage Sub-Committee.
“This is a once-in-a-generation experience, and everyone deserves a chance to witness it live from Namboole.”

🎟️ Ticket Pricing and Access
Ugandans can now purchase tickets at three price points:

- UGX 10,000 – Ordinary
- UGX 30,000 – Silver
- UGX 50,000 – Premium
Each ticket grants access to all matches played on a given day, usually two back-to-back fixtures. For instance, if a ticket grants access to a 5:00 p.m. game, fans can stay and enjoy the 8:00 p.m. match as well—all with the same ticket.
⚠️ Note: Re-entry is not allowed. Once you leave the stadium, the ticket becomes void.
🖥️ 100% Digital—No Paper Tickets
In a historic shift for Ugandan sports events, all tickets are exclusively available online via the CAF-approved portal:

Fans can also scan QR codes shared by CAF or partners to reach the ticketing platform. Payment options include MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, and Visa/MasterCard. Upon purchase, tickets are sent via SMS or email and scanned at the stadium entrance using digital devices.
🪑 Choose Your Seat—Before It’s Gone
Buyers can select their preferred seating area:
- Ordinary: Behind the goalposts (Sections 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 16)
- Silver: Side stands opposite the VVIP area (Section 5)
- Premium: Prime central views flanking the VVIP zone (Sections 12 and 14)
Each transaction allows up to five tickets and seats are reserved for only 10 minutes at checkout, urging fans to act fast.
⚽ Uganda’s Fixtures at Namboole
Uganda will host 12 Group C matches, including showdowns between:
- Uganda vs Algeria – August 4 at 8:00 p.m.
- Niger vs Guinea – the same evening at 5:00 p.m.

- A high-stakes clash between Uganda and South Africa is set for August 18 (tickets coming soon)
As Uganda Cranes prepare to defend their pride on home turf, the LOC is calling on fans to show up in droves and turn Namboole into a fortress.
