Kampala is gearing up for a series of elegant celebrations as Lt. Kankiriho Kivuna, a distinguished PAP Member and marine soldier attached to the Marine Forces patrolling Lake Victoria waters, prepares to formalize his union with his beloved fiancée, Ambikiiire.
The journey to the altar officially begins on 4th December 2025 with a grand wedding launch at Kingdom Kampala, starting at 6:30 pm. The launch, beautifully announced under the theme #Come & be with us, is expected to attract high-profile guests, including leaders from the Pan-African Parliament, with the PAP Speaker already confirmed among the top dignitaries.
The couple’s matrimonial roadmap has also been released, unveiling a sequence of culturally rich and memorable ceremonies. The Giveaway (Kuhingira) will take place on 5th February 2026 in Kyeera, Sembabule District, where families will gather to honor tradition and bless the union. This will be followed by the grand wedding ceremony on 6th February 2026 in Kayanga, Kazo District, marking the climax of their celebrations.
Lt. Kankiriho, known for his dedicated service safeguarding Uganda’s territorial waters on Lake Victoria, will be joined by family, friends, colleagues, and national leaders as he walks down the aisle.
