Renowned Ugandan political and socialist commentator Samuel Kasozi, widely known as “Philosopher Kasozi,” narrowly escaped death following a harrowing hit-and-run accident involving a canter truck.
According to preliminary accounts, the incident occurred on Wednesday as Kasozi was riding on a boda boda en route to an interview engagement. Eyewitnesses indicate that a speeding canter truck abruptly veered into the road, violently intercepting the motorcycle and triggering a near-fatal collision. The driver reportedly fled the scene immediately after the impact, leaving bystanders to intervene.
