Pictorial: Uganda Airlines Celebrates Independence Day In Style

Kampala: Just like other government agencies, the mighty Uganda Airlines has joined the country’s nationals today to celebrate the 59th independence anniversary.

Uganda Airlines is the flag carrier of the Pearl of Africa. The company is a revival of the older Uganda Airlines which operated from 1977 until 2001. The current carrier began flying in August 2019 and has since registered tremendous success.

The Airline joins Ugandans to celebrate the anniversary in an event held at Kololo Independence grounds where President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni was the guest of honour in the accompany of First Lady Janet Museveni.
