Police Arrest Pastor For Hosting People Power Leader Bobi Wine

By Spy Uganda

The Police over the weekend arrested a Pentecostal Pastor in Eastern Uganda over allegations that he hosted People Power movement leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and  even held an illegal assembly at his Church.

It is alleged that Pastor Andrew Muwanguzi  hosted Bobi Wine, who is also the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament (MP), Robert Kyagulanyi, MP Francis Zaake and other opposition politicians at his  True Worship Centre Church in Kamuli district, last year.

Following his acts, Muwanguzi reportedly committed the offense when he hosted Bobi Wine and other religious leaders at his home in Bukikimbo village, in Butansi Sub County in March last year without notifying police.

Muwanguzi was arrested after featuring on a television talk show in Jinja town on Saturday afternoon and whisked to Jinja Central Police Station where he was held for an hour, before being transferred to Kamuli Central Police Station.
