The lost items were found at Dunstan Ojuka’s rental unit following a trail by police sniffer dogs. Ojuka worked as a security guard at the offices. And he was on duty when the theft happened.

“They attempted to break into the office of Secretary General, successfully broke the pad locks but failed to enter as the internal lock failed to open,” the FDC said in a statement.

Brenda said “I reached office at 8.30 am only to find the door wide open yet I am the only one with the keys. When I checked inside, the wires from the computers were all broken and some computers had been taken. I then informed my bosses who also informed police about the incident”.

Police arrested the security guard and is at Najjanankumbi Police Station as investigations continue.
