It’s good news for workaholic Jennifer Bamuturaki after HE.Yoweri Kaguta Museveni finally appointed her as substantive Uganda Airlines Chief Executive Officer, elevating her from the acting capacity she has perfectly served in for the last very many months.
The appointment of Bamuturaki has been revealed by Minister of Works and Transport, Gen. Edward Katumba Wamala in a letter dated July 5th addressed to the chairperson of the Uganda Airlines board.
Katumba says in the above mentioned letter that the appointment of Bamuturaki was a directive from HE. President Museveni.
Katumba’s letter partially states, “Reference is made to letter Ref. No. P0/28 dated 24th, April, 2022 from H. E. the President of the Republic of Uganda in respect of the subject matter above (copy attached for ease of reference). The purpose of this letter is to bring the directive to your attention for implementation.”
