HE. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has this morning departed for Algeria for a three-day state visit-TheSpy Uganda reports.
In his Twitter handle, Museveni made it clear that he has gone to enhance bilateral relations for the prosperity and interests of the two countries.
I have travelled to Algiers, Algeria for a 3-Day State Visit at the invitation of H.E Abdelmadjid Tebboune. I look forward to having fruitful discussions with him to enhance our bilateral relations for the prosperity and interests of our people. pic.twitter.com/mix4uXpWT4

This site has also learnt that during the State visit, the President and his host will witness the signing of a number of memoranda of understanding between various sectors from the two countries.
The Heads of state will also attend the first-ever business forum between Algeria and Uganda in Algiers.
Uganda and Algeria have strong regional, continental & international cooperation, especially through regional and international organizations such as the African Union (AU), the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) and the United Nations.
