Producer Washington Testifies In Mowzey Radio Murder Trial

City producer David Ebangit aka Washington has Thursday afertoon testifieds against Godfrey Wamala aka Troy, who is accussed of allegedly clobbering fallen singer Moses Sekibog aka Mowzey Radio.

Washington testified be Entebbe Chief Magistrates court which was presided over by Lady Justice Jane Francis Abodo, who started hearing of the case in which late music icon Mowzey Radio met his death, after alleegdly getting involved in bar brawl with Troy.


Mowzey Radio died of head injuries at Case Hospital in Kampala on February 1, 2018, which he sustained after a brawl at De Bar, a popular hangout in Entebbe Town, Wakiso District on January 22, 2018.
Washington took the stand in court as a state witness to testify against the suspect Wamala.
“He is the gentleman who took my brother’s life Mowzey Radio. I know him by face and name he is called Troy. I knew Ssekibogo Moses for 10 years, he is with God now.” Washington told court.

Wamala, the prime suspect in the murder, was arrested from Kyengera and later transferred to Entebbe Police on February 4, 2018, following accusations that he had murdered singer Mowzey Radio.

It is said that a fight ensued between after Radio allegedly poured booze on some people, before a one Pamela Musimire and another person only identified as Ategeka, intervened by dragging him out of the bar.


However, while outside the bar, Wamala allegedly grabbed the singer and beat him up after developing a quarrel with him and in the process, Radio fell, hitting his head hard on a pavement, thereby sustaining injuries that later led to his death.
