Kampala: A massive fire has gutted warehouses owned by Joint Medical Stores on 5th street, Industrial Area in Kampala destroying property estimated to be in millions.

Firefighters worked tirelessly to put out the fire to save the entire infrastructure from going up in flames.

According to an eyewitness, the fire destroyed property in warehouses owned by Joint Medical Stores, Blue Band, and Mi-Tech electronics located on 5th street.

The witness further noted that the fire was ignited by sparks from welding work that was going on inside one of the warehouses.
