Ruparelia Group Boosts Kampala City Dev’t With Multibillion Swanky ‘Pearl Business Park’

Kampala: Uganda’s most famous group of companies-Ruparelia Group is eyeing to boost the country’s capital city’s development with a multibillion swanky property dubbed the “Kampala Business Park” that will house a couple of premises including among others offices, shopping center, health and leisure amenities.

This was announced over the weekend by Ruparelia Group officials who revealed that this will be made via their massive plan for the re-development of the former Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) headquarters on Yusuf Lule Road in Kampala. ”The Pearl Business Park, is an 18-acre mixed-use facility that will host a 5-star hotel, a shopping mall, and a modern hospital when complete,” said Rajiv Ruparelia, Ruparelia Group Managing Director.

TheSpy Uganda has however learnt via the released schematic representations that the project is expected to be finished in15 months’ time, and the first phase is expected to be completed in 2023. ”Phase one of the project will cater to office space while the building will have 16 lettable floors with 27,240 sqm of built-up area. There will be two parking floors, accommodating 360 cars,” Rajiv said before adding;

“It is essentially a green office, sustainably designed, to minimise the negative impact on the environment, while enhancing the health and comfort of the building’s occupants. Amenities such as thriving pedestrian and people spaces, ample parking as well as rich and vast landscapes as well as the building’s layout design have been sustainably designed to optimise daylight and air quality.”

Unique ‘Pearl Business Park’ 

We have established that the Pearl Business Park will be installed with a fully automated fire detection system on all floors with three forms and three extinguishers on each floor in addition of an elaborate fire sprinkler system backed up by a 145,200-litre reserve tank.

TheSpy Uganda has also learnt that access control protocols will be followed on top of 24-hour dedicated security and 170 CCTV cameras in all public areas as a mechanism to tem insecurity at the property.

The list of uniqueness on this massive property is endless but for leisure, Pearl Business Park will have a couple of amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness center/sauna, provision for internet cable connection points to the building, access to dual fiber optics internet connections all on one property.
