There is untold excitement among NBS TV viewers all over Uganda after news circulated that bubbly and sexy oozing news anchor Sheila Nduhukire has since crossed over from NTV to Kamwomya based Next Media’s NBS TV.
Nduhukire, who is a seasoned journalist that often rubbed shoulders with trouble while doing her journalism duties at NTV, was unveiled today to the NBS TV family by Next Media Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kin Kariisa, flanked by his second in command, the head of strategy Joe Kigozi.
Kariisa tweeted thus after unveiling her ; “Happy to have @snduhukire join us at Next Media Services. Sheila, you join a great team that’s working hard everyday to build our motherland, Uganda. Welcome home.”
On her part she wrote; ” Thank you all for guiding, and walking with me throughout my career. Welcome to the NEXT chapter of my life.
“Welcome to the winning team!” the station posted on social media shortly after unveiling her and we are told she is set to kick-off her duties as a news anchor soon.
Nduhukire previously worked for NTV Kenya as a news anchor, where she was on Media Lab training.
Nduhukire became more popular on the airwaves most especially during the 2016 elections when she closely reported the results from the elections for close to 20 hours a day and the scandals about teenage marriages in Refugee camps in Uganda.
Apart from Nduhukire, there are several other seasoned journalists who have crossed over from NTV to NBS TV in the recent past. They include; Solomon Sserwanja, RukhShana Namuyimba, Sheila Tusiime Mugisha, Ernest Wisdom Kiyonga, Darren Kyeyune, MC Kats, and Douglas Lwanga.
