The police in Buikwe district are hunting for unidentified goons who kidnapped a woman, gang raped her, murdered her and later cut out her private parts, which they fled with.
Eva Namujju Kyolaba, aged 25, who went missing a few days ago, was found murdered and her naked body dumped in a sugarcane plantation in Maseke village, Nkokonjeru town council, Buikwe District on Tuesday.
Her corpse was first seen by farmers who has gone to the sugarcane plantation to cultivate, only to land on the naked body.
They raised an alarm and alerted the area chairperson, who in turn informed the police.Kyolaba’s body was later removed by the police and taken to Kawolo Hospital Mortuary for postmortem as investigations.
However, this comes at a time when several women have been kidnapped and murdered by unknown assailants in various parts of the country.By the time of filing this story, the police had not yet issued a statement about Kyolaba’s murder.We shall keep you updated as details come in.
